Back Alley

A back alley in Bedford

I kinda like alleys for some quaint reason. I’m not really sure why. Maybe it’s the play on perspective that alleys provide. Or the claustrophobic feel of getting up close and personal with the architecture. Whatever it is, Bedford, a small Virginia town (like small towns in general) isn’t really endowed with many alleys. This one runs right next to the old Bedford Hardware building. Alleys suggest mystery and suspense and perhaps my drawing tonight will get you pondering just where I was headed for the day!
